The 3558 series triple row vertical pin header, with a 2.54 mm (0.100\") pitch, is designed for board-to-board applications. It is available in configurations from 6 to 120 circuits and mates with 3453 series sockets. The connector features 0.64 mm square pins and offers various plating options including tin, gold flash over nickel, and selective gold over nickel. Different pin lengths are available to suit specific requirements. The insulator is made of PBT UL 94 V-0, and contacts are brass. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C and is RoHS compliant. Electrical characteristics include a voltage rating of less than 250V, a current rating of less than 3A, and contact resistance below 20 mΩ. It has a dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 V AC/minute and insulation resistance greater than 1000 MΩ, with capacitance less than 2 pF at 1 KHz. Mechanically, it provides a pin retention force to the insulator greater than 0.50 Kgf and a durability of 50 cycles. Standard pin height 'H' options are 5.86 mm and 7.62 mm.
