Overview

The MAX17616AEVKIT# evaluation kit demonstrates the MAX17616A eFuse, a current-limiting protection solution for 5V to 28V applications (expandable from 3V to 80V). The kit provides a 2A auto-retry current limit and features an external N-channel FET for reverse conduction protection. It includes a 3.3V buck regulator for logic pull-ups and LED indicators. A dedicated header allows for PMBus evaluation using the DC1613A adapter and LTPowerPlay software, enabling telemetry for input/output voltage, current, and temperature. The board is designed to evaluate undervoltage lockout, overvoltage surge protection, and programmable current-limit responses.
