Overview
The TMC9660-STP-EVKIT is an evaluation platform for the Analog Devices TMC9660, a highly integrated monolithic motor controller and gate driver IC. This specific kit focuses on two-phase bipolar stepper motor applications but supports three-phase BLDC and DC motors. It operates over a voltage range of 8V to 70V DC and handles up to 5A RMS coil current. The hardware features integrated Field-Oriented Control (FOC) and dedicated hardware controllers for position, velocity, and torque. The kit includes the TMC9660-STP-EVAL board, the Landungsbruecke PC interface, and the Eselsbruecke bridge board.
