Overview

The DC1045 demonstration circuit is a telecom-grade isolated DC/DC converter utilizing the LTC3805 constant frequency current mode flyback controller. It is designed to convert a 36V to 72V input voltage into a regulated 3.3V output with up to 3A of current. Operating at a 200kHz constant frequency, the circuit maintains high efficiency and low noise across a wide load range, featuring ±2% output accuracy with no minimum load requirement. The design includes the LTC4430 for secondary-side opto-coupler driving and can be modified for non-isolated operation or alternative output voltages up to 15V.
