Overview

This document provides a quick start guide for demonstration circuit 1318 (DC1318A), which features the LTC3611EWP high-efficiency synchronous step-down converter. The circuit operates from an input voltage range of 9V to 32V and delivers up to 10A of continuous output current. It includes jumper-selectable output voltages of 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V. The design utilizes constant on-time valley mode current control for fast transient response and incorporates RDS(on) current sensing to eliminate the need for an external sense resistor. Users can select between continuous and discontinuous conduction modes at light loads to optimize for either noise reduction or efficiency.
