The DC1388A demonstration circuit evaluates the LT3008, an ultralow quiescent current and low dropout (LDO) linear regulator. The circuit handles input voltages from 2V to 45V and provides up to 20mA of output current. With a quiescent current of only 3μA, the design is optimized for low-power and battery-operated applications. The board includes selectable jumpers for standard output voltages of 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.0V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5.0V, plus a user-configurable option for custom voltage settings using an external resistor.
