Overview

The DC537A demonstration circuit is designed to evaluate the LTC4230 Triple Hot Swap Controller with multifunction current control. The board supports three supply voltage channels ranging from 1.7V to 16.5V. Key features include undervoltage lockout, programmable soft start with inrush current limiting, dual-level overcurrent fault protection, and user-programmable supply power-up rates. The circuit can be configured for either automatic retry or latched mode operation. The demonstration board includes three power channels with series-connected MOSFETs and sense resistors, output voltage monitoring via RESETn signaling, and a default slew rate of 0.74V/ms per channel.

Use Cases

  • Hot board insertion and removal
  • Electronic circuit breaker functions
  • Low voltage power control
