Overview

This document describes the DC679 demonstration circuit for the LT3463EDD, a dual output voltage regulator. The design features two separate circuits: one optimized for minimal component size and another for high-performance efficiency. Both provide a ±20V output from an input range of 2.7V to 6.0V. The positive rail is configured as a boost converter while the negative rail functions as an inverting charge pump. The LT3463EDD utilizes Burst Mode operation to maintain high efficiency across various load conditions and features integrated Schottky diodes to reduce overall parts count. The guide provides technical specifications, efficiency data, and procedures for measuring output ripple and regulation.
