Overview

Demonstration circuit 1398 (DC1398) is an evaluation platform for the LTM9001 16-bit receiver subsystem. The board demonstrates optimal circuit layout techniques and recommended external circuitry for high-performance signal acquisition. It features a wideband input transformer for single-ended RF signals and CMOS output buffers for data interfacing. The DC1398 is designed to plug into the DC890 Data Acquisition board, allowing users to analyze performance via PScope data processing software. The design includes onboard low-noise voltage regulators, adjustable PGA gain settings, and flexible input configurations for AC-coupled or DC-coupled differential and single-ended signals.
