User guide for DC1035A featuring the LTC3812-5 synchronous step-down regulator. Supports 7V-60V input, 3.3V output at 6A, and 260kHz switching frequency.
Demonstration circuit 1035 is a current mode synchronous step-down switching regulator featuring the LTC3812-5 controller. The circuit operates at a 260kHz switching frequency and provides a 3.3V output at a maximum load of 6A from an input voltage range of 7V to 60V. It employs a constant on-time valley current control architecture, which allows for low duty cycles and cycle-by-cycle current limiting without a sense resistor. Key features include selectable pulse skip or forced continuous operating modes, a Power Good (PGOOD) output, programmable soft-start, and a 0.5% internal reference.
