Atmel TM AT24C08 Serial EEPROM
User guide for the MPC8379E-RDB reference design board featuring the NXP PowerQUICC II Pro processor, Gigabit Ethernet switching, SATA, and USB 2.0 in a Mini-ITX form factor.
This document describes the MPC8379E-RDB reference design platform, a system solution centered on the PowerQUICC II Pro MPC8379E and MPC8377E processors. The board features 256MB of DDR2 SDRAM, 8MB NOR Flash, and 32MB NAND Flash. Connectivity options include five Gigabit Ethernet ports via a Vitesse VSC7385 L2 switch and one via a Realtek RTL8211B PHY, alongside up to four SATA connectors and four USB 2.0 ports. Expansion is provided through 32-bit PCI, miniPCI, and PCI Express slots. Additional onboard components include an NXP MC9S08QG8 MCU for fan control, a Dallas DS1339 RTC, and a Genesys Logic GL850A USB hub. The guide details hardware specifications, block diagrams, clock distribution, and reset configurations.
