This board contains one MC33774A analog front end (AFEs) in a daisy chain.
Reference design for the MC33774A analog front end (AFE) featuring isolated ETPL daisy chain communication for high-voltage battery management systems (HVBMS).
The RD33774ADSTEVB is a distributed cell monitoring unit (CMU) reference design featuring the MC33774A analog front end (AFE). It is designed for rapid prototyping of high-voltage battery management system (HVBMS) hardware and software. The board utilizes Electrical Transport Protocol Link (ETPL) for isolated daisy chain communication via isolation transformers or capacitive coupling. Key features include 18 cell balancing outputs (CB0 to CB18), 18 voltage sense inputs (CT0 to CT18), and 8 NTC inputs for temperature sensing. It also incorporates an I2C-BUS for EEPROM connectivity and GPIO support.
