Overview

The TMC9660-3PH-EVKIT is a comprehensive evaluation system for the Analog Devices TMC9660, a highly integrated monolithic motor controller and gate driver IC. Designed for three-phase Brushless DC (BLDC) and Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM), the kit supports a voltage range of 8V to 70V and continuous coil currents up to 10A RMS (20A peak). The hardware features integrated Field-Oriented Control (FOC) and dedicated controllers for position, velocity, and torque. The board includes support for ABN encoders, digital hall sensors, a brake chopper, and an electromechanical brake. The kit consists of the TMC9660-3PH-EVAL board, the Landungsbruecke PC interface, and the Eselsbruecke bridge connection board for use with the TMCL-IDE software environment.
