Overview

The TMCM-142 is a high-performance single-axis stepper motor controller and driver module featuring integrated encoder feedback for closed-loop operation. It utilizes the TMC457 motion controller for real-time S-shaped ramp calculation and high-resolution microstepping up to 1024 steps, alongside the TMC239 motor driver which supports up to 5A RMS coil current. The module operates across a voltage range of 18V to 78.5V DC. Connectivity options include USB, RS232, CAN, and RS422/RS485 through the TMCM-IF add-on interface board. The system supports standalone operation via the Trinamic Motion Control Language (TMCL) and provides integrated protection against overtemperature and undervoltage conditions.
