The SWIM (Shallow Water IMmersion) series is designed for immersion down to 300 meters (1000 ft). It features a thermoplastic construction resistant to corrosion and cathodic delamination. The design uses a dry mate sealing technology with a shell-to-shell sealing interface involving two O-rings. The connector includes shell polarization keys and a scoop-proof design to facilitate blind mating.
