The EPC9150 is a demonstration system primarily intended to drive laser diodes with high current pulses. It features the EPC2034C enhancement mode (eGaN) field effect transistor and is capable of current pulses up to 214 A with total pulse widths of less than 3 ns. The board includes the EPC9989 interposer board for mounting different laser footprints and utilizes the TI LMG1020 gate driver to minimize power loop inductance.
