The microcontroller integrates a dual-core 32-bit RISC-V high-performance processor running up to 400 MHz and a low-power 32-bit RISC-V processor running up to 40 MHz. It includes 768 KB of high-performance L2 memory, 32 KB of low-power SRAM, 8 KB of scratchpad memory, and in-package 16 MB or 32 MB PSRAM options. The device provides 55 programmable GPIOs with image, display, camera, USB, Ethernet, SD/MMC, serial, motor-control, touch, ADC, and timer peripherals. Security functions include secure boot, eFuse OTP, AES, ECC, HMAC, RSA, SHA, digital-signature peripherals, external-memory encryption, TRNG, and key management. The series is supplied in a 104-pin QFN package measuring 10 mm by 10 mm and is specified for a minus 40 °C to 85 °C ambient operating range.
