The SPCM-AQRH-10 is a self-contained single-photon counting module that detects single photons over the wavelength range of 400 nm to 1064 nm. It utilizes a unique silicon avalanche photodiode (SLiK) with a 180 µm active area, reaching a peak photon detection efficiency of 70% at 650 nm. The module generates a TTL-level pulse for each photon detected and features a maximum count rate of 37 Mcps. It is thermoelectrically cooled and temperature-controlled to ensure stabilized performance, with a dead time of approximately 24-35 ns depending on the specific electronic configuration.
