Smart power stage module integrates a gate driver IC, bootstrap Schottky diode, two power MOSFETs, and a thermal monitor for synchronous buck DC-DC converters. The module supports 60 A current handling at 300 kHz and operates from a 4.5 V to 16 V output-stage supply with 4.5 V to 5.5 V VCC and PVCC supplies. Its 3-state 3.3 V PWM input, Auto DCM control through ZCD#, thermal monitor, programmable thermal shutdown, and HS-short fault shutdown support multiphase voltage-regulator designs. The 31-lead clip-bond PQFN package measures 5 mm by 5 mm and uses PowerTrench and SyncFET MOSFET technology. The device is rated for a -40 °C to +125 °C operating junction temperature range and is RoHS compliant with green packaging.
