The 2.4 GHz system-in-package combines an IEEE 802.15.4-compliant RF transceiver with an HCS08 8-bit microcontroller in a 71-pin LGA package. It operates across the 2.405 GHz to 2.480 GHz ISM band and supports 250 kbps over-the-air data with programmable transmit power. The family provides 16 KB, 32 KB, or 60 KB flash options with 1 KB, 2 KB, or 4 KB RAM depending on the device variant. It supports low-power operating modes, an internal SPI connection between the MCU and modem, external serial interfaces, timers, GPIO, and an 8-channel ADC over a -40 °C to 85 °C operating range.
