The FR-872 is a low-profile, bench-top PCBoard preheater featuring high-efficiency carbon filament IR heating lamps. It is designed to elevate the temperature of printed circuit board assemblies, particularly medium to high-mass boards, to facilitate easier soldering and de-soldering. The system includes four independent switchable heat zones, manual and automatic operation modes with 3-zone profiling, and closed-loop feedback via thermocouple or power percentage.
