The Hakko FT8004-81 is a redesigned thermal wire stripper handpiece designed for use with the FT-802 station. It features improved blade alignment with set screws, an ergonomic tweezers-style structure, and enhanced heat resistance. Using G4 blades, it can strip insulation from wires as fine as AWG 38 with no nicks or damage to strands. It is backward compatible with the FT-801 station when used with a conversion kit.
