Kester 24-6040-9703 is a high-quality Sn60Pb40 leaded solder wire featuring the 285 Rosin Mildly Activated (RMA) flux core. The 285 flux consists of high-quality purified rosin to which a synergistic combination of activating agents has been added, providing wetting action comparable to typical RA fluxes while maintaining an RMA classification. Residues are non-corrosive, non-conductive, and do not require removal for most applications.
