The LAPP 2218070 is an industrial-grade, shielded flexible tray cable belonging to the ÖLFLEX® TRAY II CY series. It consists of seven 18 AWG finely stranded bare copper conductors insulated with a PVC/nylon blend. The cable is dual-shielded with an aluminum-coated foil tape and a tinned copper braid with 70% coverage to provide superior EMC protection and signal integrity. It features a specially formulated, pressure-extruded black PVC jacket that is highly resistant to oils, UV radiation, and environmental stressors. This cable is UL TC-ER rated, allowing for installation in cable trays without the need for conduit, and is suitable for direct burial and wind turbine tray cable (WTTC) applications.
