The XR3085X is a high performance, half-duplex RS-485/422 transceiver designed for noisy industrial environments. It features ±18V fault tolerance on analog bus pins and a Profibus-compliant differential output that delivers 2.1V, providing 40% higher signal-to-noise ratio than standard RS-485 devices. The device includes advanced fail-safe circuitry, hot swap protection, and is slew-rate limited for reduced EMI. It supports data rates up to 1Mbps and allows up to 256 devices on a single bus.
