The MLX90614 is a non-contact infrared thermometer integrated into a TO-39 package. It consists of an IR sensitive thermopile detector chip and a signal conditioning ASSP with a 17-bit ADC and powerful DSP. This 'DAA' variant specifically features a 3V supply voltage, medical-grade accuracy of 0.5°C in the range of body temperatures, and a single-zone sensing area. It provides digital output via SMBus or a customizable PWM output.
