The MC3672 is an ultra-low power, low-noise, integrated digital output 3-axis accelerometer. It is designed for motion sensing in wearables, IoT devices, and consumer products. The device features a monolithic fabrication approach where the MEMS sensor is integrated on a single chip with the electronics. It supports multiple acceleration ranges from ±2g to ±16g and provides up to 14-bit resolution. It includes specialized low-power modes such as Sniff and Wake, and an integrated 32-sample FIFO to reduce system-level power consumption by minimizing MCU wake-up frequency.
