
Micro USB Type B receptacle provides a 5-contact female interface for board-mounted USB connections. The connector uses SMT termination with a 90 degree right-angle orientation and two metal-foot retention points. Electrical ratings include 1.0 A per contact terminal, 30 VAC voltage rating, 50 milliohms maximum contact resistance, and 100 megohms minimum insulation resistance. The insulator is high-temperature black LCP thermoplastic rated UL 94V-0, with copper-alloy contacts and a copper-alloy shell. The lead-free version is RoHS compliant and uses gold plating in the mating area with nickel plating on the shell.
