Single-channel phototransistor optocoupler contains a GaAs infrared LED optically coupled to an NPN silicon phototransistor. The SSOP-4 package uses a 1.27 mm pin pitch and provides 2,500 Vrms isolation with 4.5 mm minimum creepage and clearance. The output transistor is rated for 80 V collector-emitter voltage and 50 mA collector current. L-rank current transfer ratio is 100% to 300% at 5 mA input current and 5 V collector-emitter voltage. Embossed-tape reel packaging is specified for surface-mount assembly.
