The TAP2000K50RE is an ultra high power planar resistor from the TAP2000 series. It is constructed using thick film technology on Aluminum Nitride (AlN) for superior thermal conductivity compared to standard alumina. This 2000-watt heat sinkable resistor is non-inductive and features high insulation and partial discharge performance. It is designed for applications such as variable speed drives, power supplies, robotics, and motor control, providing a constant cooling plate pressure of approximately 300 N when properly mounted.
