The RT7299BHGQW is a high efficiency, monolithic synchronous step-down DC/DC converter capable of delivering up to 8A output current from a 4.5V to 18V input supply. It features a current-mode architecture with external compensation, allowing for optimized transient response across various loads and output capacitors. The device includes cycle-by-cycle current limit, soft-start to eliminate input current surge, and protections against under-voltage, over-voltage, and over-temperature conditions.
