
This 32.768 kHz MEMS oscillator is designed as a quartz XTAL replacement for space- and power-constrained timekeeping applications. It operates from 1.5 V to 3.63 V across -40°C to +85°C, with functionality down to 1.2 V over the reduced -10°C to +70°C range. The device provides 20 ppm frequency tolerance at 25°C, up to 100 ppm stability over the full industrial temperature range, and typical core current of 0.90 µA at 1.8 V with no load. Its 2.0 x 1.2 mm 2012 SMD package is pin-compatible with existing 32 kHz XTAL footprints when using the recommended layout. NanoDrive programmable output swing reduces power consumption, and the oscillator output removes the need for external load capacitors while internal filtering reduces the need for an external bypass capacitor.
