The Si5348B is a network synchronizer clock designed for Synchronous Ethernet, SONET/SDH, and PDH (T1/E1) applications. Utilizing fourth-generation DSPLL technology, it provides any-frequency clock generation and jitter attenuation with a digitally programmable PLL bandwidth as low as 0.001 Hz. It features 5 clock inputs and generates up to 7 clock output frequencies with phase jitter as low as 0.125 ps RMS. The device supports enhanced hitless switching to minimize output phase transients and is designed for centralized 'pizza box' architectures when paired with the Si5388-SW protocol stack.
