
This device is a 4-port USB 2.0 hi-speed hub controller for embedded USB applications. It supports low-speed, full-speed, and hi-speed downstream devices and uses a multi-transaction-translator architecture with one transaction translator per port. The hub operates from a single 3.3 V supply with internal 1.2 V core regulation, integrates USB termination and pull-up and pull-down resistors, and supports self-powered or bus-powered operation. It provides configurable features including PortMap, PortSwap, PHYBoost, SMBus or I2C EEPROM configuration, and USB Battery Charging Revision 1.1 support for charging downstream ports. The USB2514Bi variant is specified for the industrial temperature range from -40°C to +85°C.
