The RF220UF1 is a low-power, IEEE 802.15.4 wireless mesh networking module based on the Atmel ATmega128RFA1 microcontroller. It features a Skyworks SE2431L front-end module with a power amplifier and LNA for increased range. The module includes an integrated 32kHz crystal for efficient sleep modes and runs the SNAP network operating system with an on-board Python interpreter for application development. This specific variant (UF1) is equipped with a U.FL antenna connector and an internal F-antenna, selectable via firmware.
