Low-voltage mono Class-AB audio power amplifier supports analog input and hardware control for consumer and battery-powered applications. The device operates from 4 V to 18 V supplies and supports loads down to 4 Ω. The gain is internally set to 20 and can be adjusted up to 200 with external components between pins 1 and 8. It has 4 mA low quiescent current, ground-referenced inputs, and an output that biases to one-half of the supply voltage. Package options include 8-pin PDIP, SOIC, and VSSOP outlines.
