The TLP292-4 is a 4-channel photocoupler consisting of phototransistors optically coupled to two InGaAs infrared emitting diodes connected in inverse parallel, allowing it to operate directly with AC input current. Housed in a small and thin SO16 package, it provides a high isolation voltage of 3750 Vrms and is rated for a wide operating temperature range from -55 to 125°C. The part is suitable for high-density surface mounting applications including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), switching power supplies, and simplex/multiplex data transmissions. The LGB rank indicates a specified current transfer ratio of 100% to 600% under low input current conditions (0.5 mA).
