The TMC2209 is an ultra-silent motor driver IC for two-phase stepper motors. It features StealthChop2 for silent motor operation, SpreadCycle for highly dynamic motor control, and StallGuard4 for sensorless homing. It supports up to 2A RMS and 2.8A peak coil current, operating from a voltage range of 4.75V to 29V DC. The IC includes a single-wire UART for advanced configuration and an integrated pulse generator for standalone motion.
