The TMC236B-PA is a dual full bridge driver IC for bipolar stepper motor control applications. It is realized in a HVCMOS technology and directly drives eight external Low-RDS-ON high efficiency MOSFETs. It supports more than 1500mA coil current. The device features integrated sensorless stall detection (stallGuard), internal 4-bit DACs for microstepping, and a 12-bit SPI interface for control and diagnostics. It includes protection against short circuit, overtemperature, undervoltage, and overvoltage.
