The VL-EPU-3312-EDP, part of the Raven series, is a ruggedized Embedded Processing Unit (EPU) designed for high-reliability applications in harsh environments. It features a quad-core Intel Atom E3845 processor running at 1.91 GHz, 4 GB of soldered DDR3L RAM, and 8 GB of on-board eMMC flash storage. This single board computer is engineered for industrial temperature operation from -40°C to +85°C and meets MIL-STD-202G specifications for shock and vibration. It provides comprehensive I/O including dual Gigabit Ethernet, five USB ports, four serial ports, and an integrated data acquisition subsystem with 8 analog inputs and 8 digital I/O lines. The unit operates on a wide input voltage range of 8V to 30V DC and utilizes a standard bolt-on heat plate for thermal management.
