The WSHM2818 is a high-power, low-value surface mount Power Metal Strip resistor featuring improved thermal management. It utilizes an all-welded construction with a solid metal nickel-chrome or manganese-copper alloy resistive element. It offers very low inductance, low thermal EMF, and is designed for current sensing, voltage division, and pulse applications in high-power environments.
