Demonstration circuit 2407A (DC2407A) is a dual channel 42V, 4A synchronous step-down Silent Switcher 2 featuring the LT8650S. The LT8650S is a second-generation Silent Switcher that minimizes EMI and reduces PCB layout sensitivity through integrated bypass capacitors. The demo board provides two fixed outputs of 5V and 3.3V, each capable of sourcing up to 4A continuous current simultaneously. It operates at a default switching frequency of 2MHz to minimize solution size and includes jumpers for Burst Mode operation, pulse-skipping, and spread spectrum modulation to further reduce EMI emissions.
