The LTC2992 is a rail-to-rail system monitor designed to measure current, voltage, and power of two supplies simultaneously. It operates over a wide input supply range of 2.7V to 100V and includes an integrated shunt regulator for monitoring supplies exceeding 100V. The device employs three ADCs: two for simultaneous measurement of supply current and a third for monitoring input and auxiliary voltages. It stores minimum and maximum measurement values and features programmable thresholds to trigger overrange alerts, reducing the need for continuous software polling. Data communication is handled via a standard I2C interface.
