Quad 16-bit serial-input DAC provides bipolar voltage outputs for precision control and data acquisition systems. The device operates from ±11.4 V to ±16.5 V analog supplies with a 2.7 V to 5.25 V digital supply and supports programmable output ranges up to ±10.5263 V with a 5 V reference. Its serial interface operates up to 30 MHz and supports simultaneous DAC updates through LDAC. The converter integrates output amplifiers, reference buffers, power-up output clamping, digital offset and gain adjustment, and programmable short-circuit protection. The 32-lead TQFP package is specified for the −40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range.
