Sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter provides 24-bit resolution with a maximum fully filtered output word rate of 2.5 MHz. The converter achieves 100 dB typical SNR at 2.5 MSPS and 112 dB typical SNR at a 78 kHz output data rate. It includes a fully differential modulator input, on-chip differential amplifier, reference buffer, programmable decimation, and a low-pass FIR filter with default or user-programmable coefficients. Operation is specified from −40°C to +85°C in a 64-lead exposed-pad TQFP package.
