High voltage input protection controller provides inrush current limiting and overcurrent protection for modular and battery-powered systems. The controller operates from 4 V to 60 V supplies and drives external P-channel FETs for current limiting and low voltage drop reverse supply protection. Adjustable current limit, foldback limiting, analog undervoltage and overvoltage protection, power-good output, and fault output functions are integrated. The device is specified over a −40°C to +125°C operating temperature range and is offered in 16-lead 3 mm × 3 mm LFCSP and 16-lead QSOP packages.
