Single transmitter/receiver bus transceiver supporting RS-422 and RS-485 standards. Features a 250Kbps minimum data rate and operates on a single 5V supply (4.5V to 5.5V). This 8-pin MSOP package, measuring 3mm x 3mm x 0.85mm with a 0.65mm pin pitch, is designed for surface mounting. It supports multidrop and multipoint data transmission with differential signal types for both transmitter and receiver. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
