Single transmitter/receiver bus transceiver for RS-422/RS-485 communication. Features a 250Kbps data rate and operates on a 5V supply voltage (4.75V to 5.25V). This half-duplex device includes one transmitter and one receiver, with receiver hysteresis of 20mV. Packaged in an 8-pin SOIC for surface mounting, it supports a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and is RoHS compliant. Supplied in tape and reel packaging with 2500 units per reel.
