Step-up DC/DC converter uses a constant-frequency, internally compensated current-mode PWM architecture for compact boost, SEPIC, and flyback designs. The device operates from a 2.6 V to 16 V input range and includes an internal 1 A, 36 V power switch. The LT1930A switching frequency is 2.2 MHz, enabling small surface-mount inductors and capacitors. It supports output voltages up to 34 V, has a 1.255 V feedback reference, and draws less than 1 µA in shutdown. The family is supplied in a low-profile 5-lead ThinSOT package for space-constrained power supplies.
