The LT3790 is a synchronous 4-switch buck-boost voltage/current regulator controller that allows the output voltage to be regulated when the input voltage is above, below, or equal to the output voltage. The device features a constant-frequency, current-mode architecture and provides input and output current regulation with monitor outputs. It includes various status flags such as C/10 charge termination and shorted output flags, making it suitable for high-power battery/super-capacitor charger applications and voltage regulation in automotive, industrial, and telecom systems.
